Seven years after The Sinclair & Rush Companies entered the Chinese market through a sales office in Changzhou city of the Jiangsu province, its VisiPak Division has announced that it has expanded its manufacturing capabilities. Its China based factory is now extruding clear plastic packaging tubes to meet the needs of its global clientele as well as new clients throughout Asia and Australia.
The expansion had been planned for years due to the growing need from its global clientele to present a universal look throughout product lines on multiple continents. "Multiple opportunities were presented to us by our existing U.S. clients and prospects who were seeking consistency of quality in a universal package," said Jeff Barket, Director of Sales & Marketing for VisiPak and the Sinclair & Rush Companies. "Our clients are looking at growth worldwide and we have always positioned ourselves to effectively serve our global clients by expanding our manufacturing capabilities internationally. This recent expansion in China underscores our commitment to these customers as well our desire to increase our product offering worldwide."
The new manufacturing operation will produce high-end, clear plastic tubes that are seamless in construction and feature the clarity and consistency demanded by its customers. Numerous product lines will be offered including standard open-end tubes that can be cut to specified sizes and the popular PermaSeal line of clear plastic containers that are permanently sealed on one end with a bottom insert and capped or plugged with a decorative or functional closure on the other. Square tubing, mailing tubes, golf ball containers, donation containers, and hang tubes are also slated for production. Complementary caps and plugs, which are already being produced in the Chinese facility, will be available to ensure that its clients can replicate packaging in a consistent manner.
With the addition of the plastic extrusion process, the Chinese factory now boasts three molding capabilities: plastic extrusion, injection molding and vinyl dip molding. The factory currently operates 5 days a week with three shifts and serves the domestic Chinese market as well as customers throughout Southeast Asia and Australia.
