VisiPak primarily uses PET and PETG plastic in the production of its tubing. Propionate is also used. Many of our caps are made of vinyl and our plugs are primarily made from PP and PE, with the exception of our PET Clear Poly Plugs and PET Clear Hanger Plugs.The most commonly used materials for our thermoforming products are PET and PVC. For medical applications typically PETG is used.

Not all materials are compatible. The responsibility lies with the purchaser to determine their product's compatibility with the materials selected. Many of our products meet the Food and Drug Administration requirement of 21CFR2177 for contact with food, with the exception of our vinyl products. Most materials used in the manufacturing of VisiPak products can be recycled. It is necessary to check with your local recycling center for a listing of accepted materials.
