Graphics Integration
The integration of graphic labels and inserts is another critical element of the custom packaging design process. Our design team can help select and configure graphic inserts on labels that will seamlessly integrate graphics into your clamshell package.
Embossing
If you want graphics that are more permanent in nature, we have the ability to etch graphics into the tooling and create clamshells with an embossed look and feel.
Sealing vs. Snapping
Determining what type of clamshell sealing process is best for your application is often dictated by a number of variables including security concerns, access to product, production volume, and weight of product. Common options include:
Button Seal
Button Seals typically consists of two simple push buttons for a snap to close package.
Rail Seal
The Rail Seal secures a package along the entire edge, fitting securely into the cavity of the clamshell.
Heat Sealing
Sealing for clamshells and blisters includes RF, Ultrasonics, and heat.
